The Mustang at St. Paul's School in Garden City, NY
The school is no longer in use but the town still uses the field for sporting and other events. On this day I had the school field to myself.
Sands Point Preserve & CSH
Memorial Day Weekend 2022
I grabbed the camera and took the Mustang out for an impromptu photoshoot. The photos were taken on a Canon R6 mirrorless camera and edited in Adobe Lightroom. I was trying out different filters in Lightroom so you may see the same photo just edited differently.
I took most of my photos at the Sands Point Preserve and around town in Cold Spring Harbor, NY.
TWA Hotel
JFK Airport
I took the Mustang to the TWA Hotel in JFK for an impromptu photoshoot. Unfortunately, the sky wasn’t cooperating that day, so I plan on returning on a nicer day. While editing the photos, I attempted to give them a 1960s aesthetic, but the presence of modern cars in the background disrupted the vintage look. Busy airports aren't very cooperative when it comes to photoshoots. Despite the challenges, I don't think they came out that bad for my first attempt.
Most of these photos were captured with my Canon R6, while some were taken with the iPhone 13."
TAGLINE!
Cherry Blossoms and the Candy Apple Red
These photos capture that intersection of nature and craftsmanship—where a car that’s been part of my life for decades meets a setting that only lasts a few days each year. It’s a reminder that some of the best moments aren’t planned—they just show up when everything comes together.

Mustang Jeff
Jeff in the Mustang
For someone who grew up with the car I barely have photos of me with the car. All I wanted for years was a picture of me with the Mustang and now I finally have one!!!
I attended the Vicious Stangs of Long Island First Anniversary Show at the Milleridge Inn on July 23, 2023 and they had a professional photographer at the event to take pictures as people rolled in and all I have to say is that the photographer did an amazing job. I love how the Mustang came out in this photo and I am so glad I put tire shine on the day before. The wheels look amazing. For once I am the subject and not the photographer.
Reimagining Classic Advertising with AI.
Each year I try to find a new location on the grounds or come up with something different to photograph. This year, I had a plan. I wanted to come home with a few images that I could turn into vintage-style Ford brochure advertisements using my car.
What started as a photo of my Mustang quickly turned into an experiment with AI. I uploaded the image and asked ChatGPT to transform it into something that looked like it came straight out of a 1968 Ford dealership brochure.
The results were surprisingly convincing.
One version looks like it could have been pulled from a Ford sales catalog in the late 1960s.
Another was created to celebrate the Mustang's 58th birthday.
Not only is the car still turning heads after nearly six decades, but it also picked up its 20th award since restoration with a 3rd Place finish at Old Westbury Gardens.
Not bad for a car that's 58 years old.

The Cover that was never made
Mustang Monthly
Mustang Monthly was my favorite magazine to read growing up. I kept a subscription from when I was 15 until the magazine went out of business in January 2021, just months before my car came out of restoration.
Being the recruiter I am, I found the person who wrote about classic Mustangs, and he agreed to publish an article about my car. Unfortunately, the publication folded just before the car was finished. The article was eventually published in the November 2021 edition of Mustang Times, but growing up, I had always wanted to be on the cover of Mustang Monthly. Now that AI photo editing apps exist, I can make that dream a reality!
That’s my car on top of an AI-generated backdrop with the logo from Mustang Monthly Magazine superimposed. I made it on my phone. Looks real, though. What do you think?
